Media Relations Specialist
Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY

The Media Relations Specialist generates a positive, global brand image by cultivating relationships with media outlets, reporters, bloggers and other content creators across traditional media and the digital media space. This position spearheads proactive digital media outreach through the strategic use of social media and digital storytelling, influencing press coverage – both traditional and digital – for the Institute, tells the story of Roswell Park’s products, services, science and innovation in a shareable, interactive, trackable way using brand journalism and maintains and optimizes Roswell Park’s online newsroom as an engaging, interactive resource for all journalists and content creators.

Communications Project Manager
Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY

The Communications Project Manager assumes a leadership role in strengthening & expanding Roswell Park’s communications efforts. This position focuses on internal communication by developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communication plan. The Communications Project Manager creates content that ensures campus-wide awareness of new initiatives, programs, services, recruitment, and operations and supports and contributes to all marketing and public relations functions including media relations, publications, web content development, crisis communications, and special events. They will monitor, track & measure return on investment of communications strategies and activities by applying best practices.

Internal Communications Supervisor
Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa

The Internal Communications Supervisor is responsible for the creation and execution of strategic internal communications that build understanding and support of Moffitt’s mission, vision and strategic plan. Leading a team of internal account coordinators, this position serves as primary point for internal communications needs at Moffitt. Devises strategies, develops appropriate methodologies and produces content to help align Moffitt goals with the engagement of team members, faculty, researchers, board members and volunteers. Responsible for planning, writing and editing messaging prepared for various channels that include electronic, digital and printed materials.
